Greetings SAPS family!
I am Principal Mimi Lok. It is with great excitement and honour that I join this big family and work alongside you all as the new principal of Shanghai Alumni Primary School. As a new year commences, everything is new, and I look forward to sharing this fresh start with endless possibilities with all of you. I wish for all our students to thrive in their academic endeavours and for our dedicated staff to have every success in their work, allowing our school to grow and prosper gradually, day by day.
With over 20 years of experience in educational administration, I am very excited to embark on this new chapter with enthusiasm. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in various roles. Having been a member of the English Language Education Curriculum Development Council, I have contributed to formulating strategies and plans for the development of the English Language education curriculum and many other subjects’ curricula. I was also the vetting panel for the PEEG Project of the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research. I have been fortunate to be recognised with several awards throughout these years, including Excellent Educational Administrator in the Fourth Outstanding Educational Administrator Reward Scheme and Invitational Education Outstanding Teacher Award. These experiences have fuelled my passion for fostering vibrant learning environments, and now, I wish to bring the same energy and commitment to this school.
The dedication of our past chancellors and principals in their outstanding leadership has laid a solid foundation for our school, which has built a strong reputation in the community and is well-loved, respected and cherished by both parents and students alike. At the beginning of a new school year, I truly wish to walk with every member of this community, including our management committee, teaching staff, parents and students, confronting the challenges ahead and boosting the efficacy of our school so that our kids can unleash their potential and grow in a joyful and nurturing learning environment.
To our cherished students, as you embark on this new academic journey, I encourage you to set ambitious goals for yourselves. As the old saying goes, “A day’s plan lies in the early morning, a year’s plan lies in the spring, a lifetime’s plan lies in diligence.” Spare no effort to pursue these goals, and learn and equip yourself diligently. Your continuous, unwavering attempt will have the power to grind and turn an iron rod into a needle. If you hold fast to your goals and beliefs, your dedication and sweat will surely yield a bountiful harvest and blossom into the vibrant fruits of your labour.
With this new chapter upon us, I wish to build upon the proud traditions that have defined our school for generations while striving to pursue the continued prosperity and elevation of our academic and extracurricular realms and bring Shanghai Alumni Primary School to new heights. I eagerly look forward to collaborating with you to bring this vision to life.

大家好！承蒙法團校董會的信任，我很榮幸能夠加入滬江小學這個大家庭。學年伊始，煥然一新，在此先衷心祝願同學學業進步，教職員工作順心，我們的學校本固枝榮，與日俱進。
我校一直秉承滬江大學「全人教育」的辦學精神，在校監林貝聿嘉博士和歷任校長的悉心領導下，學生在德、智、體、群、美各方面，都得到了長足的發展。近年來，為配合國家發展和教育的新趨勢，我校致力營造校園閱讀的氛圍，大力發展STEAM課程、培育學生的體藝發展，同時亦不忘培育學生正向積極的價值觀，銳意為每一位學生打好良好的成長根基。前賢的心血，後進的成長，都是推動我努力的源動力。未來，我會積極投入這個大家庭，竭力帶領我校發揚一貫的辦學精神，讓學校多年來奠定的堅實辦學基礎和優良的校譽，繼續傳承、彰顯。
新的學年，新的篇章，我真切期盼與學校每一位成員，包括校董會、教職員、家長、學生，和衷共濟，並肩同行，攜手帶領學校迎接各項新挑戰，繼往開來，致力達成辦學的使命，讓每一位學生都可以充分發揮自身的潛力，在愉快的學習環境中茁壯成長。
「一日之計在於晨，一生之計在於勤」，冀望同學也可以在新學年之始立下這一學年的目標，為自己注入正能量。訂定目標後，全力朝目標進發，勤力學習，積極裝備自己，磨杵成針。只要能堅持自己的目標和信念，付出總有收獲，你們的耕耘和汗水，定能栽種出一顆顆絢麗多彩的果實。
九月的校園，活力再現、朝氣蓬勃，冀盼學生都能開展多采多姿的學習歷程，用心感受仁愛和諧的校園文化，學習彼此尊重、諒解、合作，一起譜寫愉快充實的校園新篇章。我們將秉承優良的辦學傳統和辦學理念，同時繼續在各個範疇上追求卓越，大放異彩，更上一層樓！
